As you all know our whole country is facing a huge pandemic nowadays. This coronavirus pandemic turns deadly and is spreading rapidly nowadays. Our country's government tries its best to fight this pandemic and protect its citizens from this pandemic. But we don't have to forget that we as a citizen also have a very important role to play in all this condition. We have to coordinate with the government. With our support and coordination, we can eradicate this deadly virus from our country. So we have to follow every guideline given by the government.
The Indian government decided to every people of India at the age of above18 is now eligible for vaccination. Until now only age above 45 are eligible for vaccination. This third phase of the covid -19 vaccine is now started on 1 May. In the 3rd phase of the vaccination if you are eligible for vaccination, kindly vaccinate yourself for covid-19 on your turn.
According to the government announcement 3rd phase of the covid 19 vaccination drive will start from May 1, CoWIN registration will begin on CoWIN website and Aarogya Setu app from April 28.
Steps for registration for covid -19 vaccination on CoWIN website
1. Visit to the CoWIN website.
2. Click the "Register/Sign In Yourself" to register yourself.
3. Further website ask you to enter your mobile number for receiving an OTP.
4. Enter the received OTP.
5. Then the website will ask for some details for a Photo ID proof.
6. Select a suitable photo ID proof from the given options.
7. Enter the photo ID details.
8. Once every detail is completed, click on registration.
9. After registering yourself, you can schedule an appointment (you can also add 3 more persons with your account).
10. Select your pin code to find your nearest vaccination center.
11. Confirm your registration and you will get an appointment for vaccination. You will receive a message on your registered mobile number with your appointment details.
Steps for registration for covid -19 vaccination on Aarogya Setu app
1. Open the Aarogya set app.
2. Click the CoWIN tab.
3. Select the 'Vaccination' option and then 'Register now'.
4. Then it will ask you to verify your phone number through a OTP
5. After phone number verification, enter photo ID proof and other details.
6. You will receive a message on your registered mobile number with your appointment details.
DOS AND DON'TS
DO:
1. Register and schedule your vaccination in advance.
2. Register online through Co-WIN OR Aarogya Setu OR UMANG platform.
3. Register against only one phone number and one proof of ID.
4. Carry ID proof when you go for vaccination.
5. Carry as ID proof the same ID document used for registration.
6. Search for nearest vaccination centre online from Co-WIN OR Aarogya Setu or Umang and select centre convenient for vaccination.
7. To receive Health ID as part of registration for vaccination, give your consent.
8. Reach Vaccination Centre on the specified date and time.
9. Wait for 30 minutes at the vaccination centre after vaccination.
10. Inform vaccination centre if any side effect(s) is experienced within 30 minutes Inform Helpline Number: +91-11-23978046 (Toll-free- 1075) in case of any side effect after leaving vaccination centre.
DON'TS:
1. Walk-in without an appointment.
2. One-person register in multiple platforms.
3. One-person register using multiple phone number and multiple ID proof.
4. Consume alcohol or other intoxicants on the day of vaccination.
5. Panic in case of side effects.
6. Register again for the second dose.
